LINEAR EXPANSION
In the work of Toni Richarte, painting and parkour converse as languages that explore freedom, the breaking of limits, and the precision of gesture. Since childhood, both worlds have shaped his way of perceiving and inhabiting space: painting as a primal impulse of creation, and parkour as a discipline that demands observation, adaptation, and a radical commitment to movement.
This physical practice, with its technical rigor and constant challenge to what is established, permeates his painting with an aesthetic born of repetition, precision, and an acute attention to the textures and lights of the environment. In each work, color and form become metaphors for the measured leap, for patient and conscious transcendence.
Currently, Richarte is expanding his visual language toward large-scale formats, intensifying his concept of expansion and generating works that invite total immersion. The exhibition Linear Expansion brings together pieces that condense four years of technical and personal evolution, articulating a journey through past, present, and future, and proposing to the viewer a process of personal transformation.
Within the framework of La Casa Cuadrada, the artist finds a fertile space for the projection of his work. From this rural environment—where he affirms that creativity flourishes with greater purity—Richarte embraces a collaborative context that amplifies art as a transformative and authentic force.
